Doesn't deserve any star!

A good school once upon a time that has sadly went way down hill. My son a 2nd grader, excelled, well liked, said to be great role model, great student,....good kid,......gets gang style beat by 5 other students, video taped by school camera and absolutely No consequences to kids that abused, why? The principal and superintendent apparently don't want to do their jobs as it was a matter of a cultural difference, my son being only half hmong, adopted, christian belief is not suppose to like a full blood hmong girl , isn't to interact socially with hmong kids of a certain family and for breaking that rule of hmongs he got beaten, kicked , hit in head, ribs, arms, legs, back, stomach. No tolerance is suppose to be for everyone, public education safely is suppose to be for everyone!

Little to no activity or interaction with teachers with most younger children being taught playing skills, bathroom breaks, and what lazy teachers are. Only 2 or 3 actual classes that last no more than 15-20 minutes in educational skills such as math or reading and writing in which the teachers give little to no explanations on how or what to do properly and leave it to other class mates to discuss.

Great staff and students! Boys and Girls Club in Menomonie is located here too.

In closing after speaking to all parents and children for my review I have found 5 out of 6 children from the ages of 5 years old to 8 years old after 1-2 years of going to this school can STILL not read, write, spell, add or subtract properly. However they are continuously passing under the mask of, "State minimum requirements" , such as social skills and self control.

I ask you how can any child pass spelling and not spell? Answer : Teachers and staff that don't need to be working.

Strict reliability on computers to do almost all real teaching as the glorified babysitters watch and never discuss anything instilling this on as young as 5-6 year old children before they can even do simple tasks.

Secondly after noticing this and interviewing children and families I have found the average school day consists of the following:

Let's talk about this school shall we? First and foremost the school Riverview Heights in Menomonie Wisconsin does not even deserve 1 star for unsatisfactory. As a parent and a writer my child as well as over 12 others now interviewed have stated when asked about homework errors (Sent home 3 - 4 months after with NO corrections made by teachers) , " No one told me OR taught me what was wrong." WHEN addressed to the so called principal you are told , " I will look into it but we preform all minimum state requirements and work with all parents to assure the best education." A generic state met which I have used when working in politics and business for years!
